While writing, and doing research for the next post: 5-6 Films by written and directed by women for woman that, as a man, changed my life– and thinking about what I would like to do in the future (teaching at the college level would be something), I came up with this:
I think the more I write about film, read about film, watch film, and make film, the more I would like to teach film. I think teaching at the college level is not about showing people what you know and what you like…it’s about providing them with the opportunity to discover new things.
